When Probuild Constructions needed a sub-contractor that would undertake the Joinery for their iconic and eye-catching project Swanston Square, it turned to Adelaide-based, long-established IJF Australia with whom it had built up a long history of successful collaborations.
IJF Australia was able to meet the rigorous, accelerated deadlines and challenging technical difficulties with proficiency and skill.
To complete all the interior joinery comprising 536 Apartments covering kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes as well as foyer, lift lobby wall and ceiling features in nine months was no small achievement. Employing a team of up to twenty men, IJF delivered high quality kitchen finishes in gloss and satin 2-pack polyurethane. Public areas included the foyer and lift lobbies with Albedor lift reveals, veneer wall panelling, black toughened glass and black 2-pack polyurethane.
Approaching the Apartment Tower from every direction, the observer is enchanted and intrigued by the façade and this is extended into the foyer with its’ captivating wall and ceiling features. Surely a case of the interiors complimenting and matching the exteriors. IJF Australia is very proud of its’ role in contributing to Probuild Constructions fine achievement.
