IJF Australia Pty Ltd recently completed its largest student accommodation project to-date at Monash University’s Clayton Campus in Melbourne comprising the manufacture, placement and installation of 1000 kitchenettes, wardrobes, desks, shelves and pinboards.
All the items were produced locally utilizing IJF Australia’s Adelaide factory in combination with associated partners. All work was managed and coordinated by IJF Project Managers and Supervisors with up to 30 personnel on site.
Installation was spread over four buildings running concurrently which required close cooperation and coordination between the IJF Australia and Brookfield Multiplex Site Teams.
IJF Australia employed the same degree of management and expertise as it uses on all its’ multiple unit/room projects which currently include the new Royal Adelaide Hospital for Hansen Yuncken-Leighton, 888, 889 and 883 Collins Street Apartments for Lend Lease, Marina Tower Apartments and Sheraton Hotel for Probuild Constructions and Forge Apartments for Mirvac Group
