The Royal Children’s Hospital

The new Royal Children’s Hospital project is the largest hospital redevelopment undertaken by the State Government of Victoria. Located in Parkville, the new RCH has been designed as part of the largest medical, research, education and technology precinct.

Lend Lease as builder, and architects BillardLeece, Bates Smart and HKS (US) have created a quality tertiary health facility specifically suited to children and young people. The unique spaces were designed to be fun and reflect the growing evidence of the importance of nature in the healing process.

IJF were able to construct bespoke pieces such as the ER bedheads which required on-site coordination to ensure the integration of the monitoring equipment was exact.
