IJF Australia is proud to announce the award of the joinery works contract for Elgin Towers, working in partnership with Lendlease on this significant development in Carlton, Victoria.

Elgin Towers is an important urban renewal project that will deliver contemporary, energy-efficient and accessible homes, creating a modern and inclusive place for people to live and thrive.

The development comprises two new detached towers — Building A (South Tower) and Building B (North Tower) — providing a total of 248 social housing apartments, each designed with a strong focus on functionality, sustainability and inclusivity. The homes will also feature private balconies, contributing to high-quality and comfortable living environments for residents.

The IJF Australia team is delighted to be working with Lendlease once again and looks forward to contributing our expertise in joinery to the successful delivery of this important project. Commissioned by Homes Victoria, Elgin Towers forms part of the High-Rise Redevelopment Program under the Big Housing Build, Victoria’s largest social and affordable housing initiative.

Construction is already underway, with IJF Australia scheduled to commence onsite works in early 2027.
